FabLab BRNO
We are the first open digital workshop in Brno and the first Czech FabLab.
About FabLab BRNO
FabLab Brno is an open digital fabrication workshop where anyone – students, makers, designers, and curious beginners alike – can turn ideas into reality. Equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and electronics tools, the lab gives people hands-on access to technology that's normally out of reach. Whether you're prototyping a project, learning a new skill in one of our courses, or just want to try 3D printing for the first time, FabLab Brno offers the space, tools, and know-how to help you make it happen.

Student educator in FabLab Brno, designer
Martina is a former design student and a passionate FabLab enthusiast, currently working with students at FabLab Brno. As the truck manager and a versatile maker, she can operate all FabLab machines and essential software. Martina excels at bridging design thinking with hands-on prototyping and the creative use of digital fabrication tools.

Natálie Václavová
Czechia / FabLab BRNO
Lecturer at FabLab Brno
Natalie started as a lecturer in FabLab Brno's mobile truck, bringing hands-on making directly to schools and communities. She then moved into organizing short-form programs for students at FabLab Brno. Without a formal background in digital fabrication, she has learned the ropes directly on the floor – working alongside makers and students – and brings a practical, communication-first perspective to the lab: translating what happens in the workshop into stories and programs that get people excited about making.
Workshops from FabLab BRNO

Week-long project challenge for one class of students. Students separate into teams or work together. On the first day, they get a task reflecting a real-life problem (possibly straight from a specific company). They learn to operate FabLab machines to finish the project. They have mentors to consult during the week and then present their finished solution on the last day..
Target: High school students

The "FabLab High School Competition" is a creative competition for students, organized by FabLab Brno. Participants design and build innovative projects using digital fabrication tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, or CNC machines. The competition promotes hands-on learning, technical skills, and teamwork. Winners receive valuable prizes and the chance to showcase their projects to the public.
