strojLAB the first university fablab in Czechia

strojLAB is the first university FabLab in Czechia. It is designed as innovation HUB at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Brno Univeristy of Technology. It's mission is to connect students, researchers, and industry through hands-on innovation. It provides access to advanced technologies such as 3D printing (including metal and robotic), laser cutting, CNC machining, 3D scanning, and digital design tools. The lab supports rapid prototyping, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical learning, enabling users to transform ideas into functional prototypes. strojLAB also offers training programs, workshops, and opportunities for companies to engage with emerging talent and test new concepts in a flexible, experimental environment.

Happylab is Vienna’s largest makerspace—an open workshop where people of all ages can take action and bring their ideas to life. Beginners, experienced makers, children, young people, school classes, students, start-ups, and companies can use professional tools, share knowledge, experiment, and learn from one another. With technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling, electronics, textiles, and wood and metalworking, as well as practical training, workshops, and expert support, Happylab makes innovation accessible to everyone. Here, ideas become tangible, skills grow, and initial experiments develop into new solutions, products, and businesses.

We are the first open digital workshop in Brno and the first Czech FabLab.

FabLab Brno is an open digital fabrication workshop where anyone – students, makers, designers, and curious beginners alike – can turn ideas into reality. Equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and electronics tools, the lab gives people hands-on access to technology that's normally out of reach. Whether you're prototyping a project, learning a new skill in one of our courses, or just want to try 3D printing for the first time, FabLab Brno offers the space, tools, and know-how to help you make it happen.

Open Lab for product prototypes and small series.

South Tyrol's largest makerspace for prototypes and small batches houses a wood workshop, a metal workshop, an electronics area and a textile area. It is equipped with high-tech devices and machines. These include a laser scanner, a 3D scanner, various 3D printers, a vinyl cutter and CNC milling machines. From rapid prototyping to supervised prototype building to individual use, companies, start-ups and freelancers can lend a hand or commission projects in the Maker Space.
